Doodle Challenge

In support of this year’s National Doodle Day and to help raise awareness for a good cause, we’ve challenged our staff to doodle.
Epilepsy Action National Doodle Day LogoHow is this a challenge you ask? Well, we gave them 1 min, no preparation time and had a video camera trained on them at all times. No time for thinking, just doodle!

Here’s the results:

Our engraver, Aneta, was the first to take on the challenge. She chose to use a Kaweco AL Sport Push Pencil. We asked her what she drew and how she found the challenge:

"I drew the Tree of Life. I found the challenge difficult because
there's no preparation time, but it was fun to see what I'd end up drawing."

Our customer service hero, Jonathan, was next to put pen to paper in under a minute. He chose to use his trusty Parker IM Ballpoint pen which he also uses for his daily notes.

"I drew whatever came into my head. A dog, a flower, stars and diamonds.
I really found the challenge relaxing and a change of pace from my normal work."

Now it’s your turn!

Send us your 1 minute video doodle. Our favourite will win a Leuchtturm1917 Notebook and Worther Shorty Pencil. Great for continuing with your doodles, drawings and sketches.

Upload them to Twitter or Instagram (make sure to tag us) or post them to our facebook page. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #DoodleChallenge!

This is totally the best thing I've ever seen! I love doodling so much! I do it all the time without realizing it. Give me a pen and paper and there is 150% chance I'll immediately start doodling and drawing objects and shapes that I have no idea where they came from.

    Fantastic article!

    Justin :)
