Leading the way in pen innovation, Helm wanted pens to be portable, reliable and efficient, all properties found in the Elmo. With a design influenced by the Bauhaus styling popular in the 1920’s when Helm was employed, the chunky, cigar shaped profile and sweeping curves are simplistic in nature, putting function over form.
