Graf von Faber Castell is one of our most premium brands. Established in 1839, they were the first brand name writing implement and manufacturer of wood encased pencils. There is a touch of ‘old world charm’ about their designs with fluted ends, mechanical spring loaded clips and finishes such as ribbed grenadilla wood. Most pens are presented in sumptuous wooden boxes, making impressive gifts for big occasions.
The Classic pen range from Graf von Faber Castell combines natural materials with a traditional design, featuring fluted caps and visible screws on the clip. Ribbed Ebony and Pernambuco wood provide a unique finish to each pen, and sterling silver superb refinement. The fountain pen has a beautiful bicolor 18k gold nib with iridium tip, comes with a converter and takes standard international cartridges. Rollerball and ballpoint pens come with a black ink refill, pencils 0.7mm leads with a replaceable eraser.
The Guilloche pen by Graf von Faber Castell has the same traditional design as the Classic, with an engraved precious resin barrel. The herringbone has a handsome and unique finish, whilst the striking coral Guilloche features a hand lacquered wave pattern. The fountain pen has an 18k gold nib, presented with a converter and takes standard international cartridges. Rollerball and ballpoint pens come with a black ink refill. Pencils take 0.7mm leads and feature a replaceable eraser under the cap.
Graf von Faber Castell’s Tamitio range adapts the traditional design of the classicrange for a more accessible price. Featuring the fluted cap end, spring loaded clip and ribbed barrel of the Classic, it is made from a durable matt lacquer. There are some beautifully subtle colours available, our favourite being the rose. The fountain pen has a rhodium plated stainless steel nib, comes with a converter and takes standard international cartridges. Rollerball and ballpoint pens come with black ink. Pencils take 0.7mm leads.
The perfect pencil is the iconic range from Graf von Faber Castell, symbolising the brands heritage. A finely ribbed California cedar wood encased pencil is joined by a platinum plated cap, protecting the writing point and concealing a handy sharpener. We stock the perfect pencil in a choice of black or brown, or as a desk set with replacement pencils and presented in a cedar wood box. Don’t worry if your pencil or eraser completely wears out, since replacementsare readily available.
The Classic Anello utilises the same elegant silhouette as the Classic collection from Graf von Faber Castell, with fluted caps and curved clips, and then adds an eye catching series of rings (Anello means ring in Italian). The barrel consists of several segments made of either grenadilla wood or precious resin separated by fine, platinum-plated rings. The Classic Anello is presented in a chamois-colored linen bag and an attractive solid wooden case.
