First I've used the Extra fine nibs. Works fine and flows fine. Your paper will effect both. Purchased it as I was finding not a lot of difference between my M and F nibs and my writing seemed too 'heavy'. Maybe my F nib is worn?

Delivery Information

All orders placed before 3pm Mon-Fri are despatched the same day (except on a bank holiday), even if your order has personalisation. Orders placed after 3pm, at the weekend or on a bank holiday are despatched next working day.

UK: We use a Royal Mail tracked service. Standard delivery is free over £30 (£2.50 charge for orders under £30) and takes 2 to 5 working days, Premium is £3.50 and takes 1 to 2 working days. Next working day is £6.95 and is delivered by 4pm (requires a signature).

International: We deliver worldwide with a standard and express service. Please visit our international website

Returns Information

Please return any unwanted items within 21 days of purchase to be eligible for an exchange/refund. Items purchased for Christmas can be returned up until Friday 23rd January. The item must still be in a re-saleable condition and returned with proof of purchase. Items that have been personalised cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Should you receive a damaged or incorrectly dispatched item, please inform us within 7 days of receipt, so we can advise you on the return of the item. I only use this 1.1 Nib - I suspect if more people knew how much better it is than any of the regulation nibs, more would buy it.

One nib was ink-stained from previous use. No sign of a fault with it as far as I can tell, and possibly this was just from normal testing, just made me wonder if the nibs are really new

Very smooth stub nibs. i got a 1.1 mm and a 1.5 mm. the 1.1 is great for adding a bit of character to your daily writing. the 1.5 is good of adding a lot of character to what you are writing, though it is fairly thirsty. in the photo I've included a medium Platinum nib as well for comparison, specifically from the curidas.

My son had a medium nib and felt his writing (which is quite small) looked too thick with this nib and wanted to try the fine. He loves it and feel he now has the perfect size for his writing.

A far better nib than the one which came with the pen initially. I felt the original nib which was medium was just a little too broad for my liking, this nib which is fine is just right.

The 1.1 italic nib I received was a bit scratchy but overall not bad at all. The 1.5 however is extremely smooth (almost to the point of being too smooth, if that's a thing)

Lamy pen nibs are cheap enough to purchase and enable anyone to experiment with. Good quality pens and nibs at a very reasonable price. The nibs are so easy to change within seconds - with no mess.
