We offer a professional giftwrap service to complement your pen or leather journal. Simply check the giftwrap option on the product page before you add to basket (a charge of £3.25 will be added).
We use a premium silver giftwrap paper with a subtle two-tone patterned effect, and a hand tied silver ribbon. We also include a matching gift tag, which can be appended with a message of your choice. Simply add your message to the text box when you reach your basket. Items are giftwrapped individually i.e. if you order several items only the specific item requested will be wrapped.
We do not include any paperwork inside the giftwrapped item. If you select a different delivery name to your billing details, we add a gift receipt which hides all prices.

What is Blind Embossing?
We use a hand operated embossing machine that uses heat and pressure to create an impression in the leather.
We offer blind embossing which uses an impression to create a colourless yet elegant finish. We also offer a silver and gold finish, where we insert silver/gold leaf into the impression.
Will embossing delay my order?
No. All orders with an embossing placed before 3pm are despatched the same day. This is because we do all embossing in-house.
Where is my message embossed?
Typically it is in the lower right hand corner. Please check the embossing preview on each individual product for a more precise position.
What can I Emboss?
You can emboss lowercase and uppercase alphabetical characters, as well as basic grammatical characters.
If you choose initials, you can emboss between 2 and 5 characters. The character limit varies for one line and two line, depending on the journal size (please check individual product pages)
Can You Emboss Logos?
Yes - If your order value is over £250 there is no set up fee. If you would like just a few journals with your logo, there is a set up fee of £50. Please call us on 0208 731 8610 for more info.
The handmade wrap-round cover of the Amalfi journal range is made from smooth and supple leather and secures the journal, protecting the pages. It is superbly crafted and the acid free plain or lined pages are ideal for recording thoughts, ideas and sketches.

Returns Information
Please return any unwanted items within 21 days of purchase to be eligible for an exchange/refund. Items purchased for Christmas can be returned up until Friday 23rd January. The item must still be in a re-saleable condition and returned with proof of purchase. Items that have been personalised cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Should you receive a damaged or incorrectly dispatched item, please inform us within 7 days of receipt, so we can advise you on the return of the item. The refillable journal is really beautiful and very high quality. My husband and I had been in an Amalfi in June and almost bought one at a shop there for my daughter. We didn't and by the time we got home we regretted it. So it was really wonderful to be able to order this online.

The Amalfi is exactly as described (by the way, it is rare to see a full description with all the details and sizes). And the journal is sublime!
The genuine leather cover is souple and pleasurable to touch, the grey cover looks noble, and the paper is slightly textured, which I love.

The product was sadly really flimsy. I had no idea from the pictures presented how flimsy and delicate the material used to make the journal was. Not very functional at all. I had it embossed but that just gets all wrinkled up when you close the journal because its so flimsy.This is down to the manufacturer. Obviously I will not be buying this brand again when you factor in the cost of the product. It does not deter me from using pen heaven again.

The leather is a bit darker than shown in picture but is beautifully soft and very sophisticated. Paper inside is lovely and thick and great to write on, plenty of pages so won't be constantly refilling.

Made from quality soft leather, I'm looking forward to filling it out on my future travels, I even bought an extra refill in case I'm over enthusiastic in my writing .
They are beautifully made however the quality control lets pen heaven down a bit as mine arrived with a scratch on the leather, a picky criticism I know but for £45 a time they should arrive in perfect condition.
