History of Visconti Pens
Visconti pens
originate from Italy, located in a 15th century villa in
Florence. Producing a range of fine fountain pens, ball pens and rollerball
pens. The company was founded in 1988 in Florence by Dante Del Vecchio and Luigi
Poli, both collectors of fountain pens for many years. Their products
represented the rediscovery and relaunch of celluloid as material for fountain
pens. Celluloid, which is "gold for the pen
specialists", is a distinguishing feature of Visconti collections.
Also, numerous systems for feeding and customising pens have
been patented by Visconti.
