Buyers Guide > Pocket Pens
A Pocket Pen is incredibly useful because very often we are out of the home or office, but still need a pen to take important notes. A pocket pen is shorter than a standard sized pen so that it slides unnoticed into a pocket, and won’t poke out. Most compact pens are ballpoint because there is no risk of leaking, and are more convenient to use.
Some pocket pens can extend whilst you are writing, so that it feels more comfortable to hold. If the pen has a cap, it can be put on the back to create extra length. The Fisher Space Bullet bullet pen is an example of this. Most Pocket Pens do not have caps because they are ballpens. The Lamy Pico overcomes this problem by adding a unique extend mechanism in the middle of the pen.
Pocket pens are also excellent for a small bag, handbag or purse. The Laban Mini resin is an ideal 'pen for her' as it has an elegant design, and comes in six 'chic' colours. The Monteverde Diva lipstick is a fun pen because it opens telescopically just like lipstick, making the perfect handbag accessory.
