I bought this pen as a surprise present for my wife. I had a brief message engraved on it. I had no doubts about the pen itself, as Parker's reputation goes before. But, I was a little apprehensive about the engraving. I need not have been. The pen was delivered within a few days of ordering, and the engraving was beautifully set in italic script. I was very pleased with it, but more to the point; my wife was delighted, both with the pen and with the little billet-doux that it bore.
