I wanted to buy a personal gift for my husbands birthday but for a reasonable price. I stumbled across this fountain pen which could be engraved. I was thrilled when I received the pen in the post. It came in a beautiful case, it looks a lot more expensive than it was and the italic engraved words look really professional. My husband loves it, really enjoys writing with it, he's been busy making use of it to write letters to family and working on writing a book with it, a pleasure to use and a lovely keepsake. 16th Jan, 2012

Firstly, let me just say that the impression this pen makes when it arrives is magnificent, I bought an engraved one for a present for my friend. The pen itself is elegant and understated and a reasonable size. The engraving I chose was Italics - a simple name. It looked fantastic: clear and professional. Having inserted the ink cartridge (it comes with a sealed one in the pen), it worked instantly. It did, admittedly then take a little while to work for my friend after being wrapped up for a day but now works beautifully. As for delivery, I paid alot to have extremely quick delievery. It arrived exactly on time and safely packaged. You do have to sign for it though, if you order next day delivery - just a note. Needless to say, I was impressed and my friend is beyond happy. If you know somebody who likes perdsonalised gifts - or fountain pens - this would be the perfect reasonably priced gift. 25th Dec, 2011
