We currently offer a blind embossing service, where we use a combination of heat and weight to indent your message into the leather. This results in a colourless, yet a very distinguished and elegant finish. See the examples below to gain a better understanding.

Embossing character limits

Please make sure your message is no longer than the character / letters limit which can be found above.  In addition, ensure you type your message exactly how you want it. For example, if you leave your message in all capitals, we will emboss it in all capitals.

Embossing positioning

We use our extensive experience and best judgement to determine the best position for embossing and for this particular journal we can emboss the bottom left hand side only. This is to ensure your message is visible when the journal's flap is open or closed.

I love this journal. Bought it to start writing and collating memories for my baby daughter who is just 8 months old. I wanted a journal that would stand the test of time and allow me the space to add photo's to the pages. The leather wraparound tie does this. The texture of the leather and the pages is lovely. The fact that you can get it embossed brings such a personal and loving touch. This time I bought the Aubergine (beautiful) and I'm going to order the Raspberry one in a few weeks to make sure I have enough space to continue my baby girls story.
